I am part of community group INDE (Initiative for New Directions in Education), which is dedicated to creating alternative educational environments. I serve on a planning team for Anthony Acres Charter School in Mondovi, a project-based, outdoor-focused STEAM middle/high school we hope will open in 2020. I am also part of a planning team for The LAND School (for Liberal Arts, Nature, and Design thinking) in the Eau Claire Area School District. This spring I am finishing up a 6-year stint on the Governance Board of Chippewa Valley Montessori Charter School.
