We are excited to share how we collaborated to develop a learning experience that embraced design thinking in International Relations, American Culture through Music and Engineering classes. What we learned can be applied to learning in any class that embraces real world problem solving. This work grew from what we learned as we participated in an action research group to better understand and implement design thinking.

Alina is a new educator, who has previously worked in the field of diplomacy. Before moving to Wisconsin to pursue a Master's degree, she worked and lived in China, Ukraine, UK and Russia. Her past experiences influence her classroom on the daily basis.
