Come learn how a struggling high school in New York reformed it's school through innovative literacy practices, including Unison Reading, Genre Practice Writing, and an overall approach to literacy that honors the author at the table. This school recently graduated 90% of it's Students with Disabilities by handing the curriculum directly to the students. Learn how to explicitly teach collaboration, critical thinking and perspective shifting discourse from two NYC teachers.
