Objectives are to inform attendees about the features of The Walking Classroom, educate them about the link between exercise and cognitive function, and give them a chance to experience the program. Attendees will Walk, Listen and Learn! The Walking Classroom aligns with academic standards for grades 4 - 8 and supports academic enrichment, increased physical activity, SEL, and health literacy. Program benefits include improved learning, better engagement, and clear improvements around mood and behavior.

Dave Yoder has been with The Walking Classroom for one year with responsibility for calling on schools and OST programs, to raise awareness of The Walking Classroom. He was most recently with Gumdrop Books and has worked for Permabound as well.
