Stuart Stotts is a songwriter, storyteller, and author from Deforest, Wisconsin. He’s worked as a full-time performer since 1986, presenting and performing for kids, families and adults around the United States, and sometimes farther. He’s a frequent presenter at conferences and workshops for teachers, parents and librarians. Stuart has worked extensively as an artist-in-residence in elementary, middle and high schools. He has released several award-winning recordings, and is also the author of over ten books, including We Shall Overcome: A Song That Changed the World, which was a 2011 ALA Honor Book, and Beyond Nice: Nurturing Kindness in Young Children. Stuart’s latest books are Dancing on the Wall, a novel about the fall of the Berlin Wall, and Who is My Neighbor?, a photography book and extended exploration of the parable of the Good Samaritan as found in the windows of Chartres Cathedral.
